his ten-minute instructional video on traveling lightly is hosted by Jean Johnson, travel expert and president of Carrier/One Designs. Beginning with general questions you should ask your travel agent (about climate and dress customs at your destination), she moves on to more specific travel tips (choose one color scheme, use a layering approach in your planned wardrobe, bring a flashlight, umbrella, etc.). Johnson concludes by demonstrating the secret of packing lightly: rolling your garments. Although the Carrier/One bag is used throughout the demonstration, we felt that the information far outweighed the commercial content of the program. This inexpensive program would be a useful addition to public library travel video collections. Recommended. (Available from: Carrier/One Designs, 3433 Cerritos Avenue, Los Alamitos, CA 90720.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
