Maybe it was the big eye in the pyramid on the cover. Or perhaps it was the proliferation of adjectives surrounding the names of people interviewed in this video: "world-renowned," "respected," "well-known," etc. Possibly it was the psychobabble that filled the air. Whatever the reason, I failed to come away from this program convinced that intuition was the great psychic power it was presented as being. You can take just about any other word that describes why some people excel at decision making--talent, creativity, imagination, experience, common sense--and build a more convincing case than that offered for ‘intuition' by the experts in this video. Since ‘intuition' is difficult to visualize, the video is packed with cheesy graphics that only add to the overall feeling that this material belongs on a late-night infomercial hosted by a representative of the Psychic Friends Network. The ‘leading intuitive development experts' and ‘validated psychics' shown here may influence some viewers to put down their crystals and dowsing sticks for a while and perform some of the exercises to expand their powers, but unless your library needs extensive coverage in this area, this is not an essential purchase. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
