Tom Law, one of the Taunton Press video stalwarts, is back with another excellent "how-to" for the home handyperson. After a brief sampling of the various cabinet styles, from the economical (i.e. "particle board," affectionately referred to as "b.s. board" by us K-Mart shoppers) to super-deluxe, the program lays out the basics of cabinet installation, and then proceeds to demonstrate the installation of same in a country kitchen. "Plumb and level, square and straight," words to live by in the gospel according to Tom Law. With 28 years of experience as a professional carpenter, the man literally exudes can-do. Viewers will learn the fine points of installing a lazy susan, joining base cabinets together, hanging wall cabinets, installing islands, and making and installing countertops.
