A very low key but thorough introduction to the art of freehand drawing, this program is aimed at the beginner but would also act as a good refresher for more advanced art students. Randy Asprodites, a veteran high school art teacher for over 25 years, breaks all objects down into four basic shapes--cone, cylinder, cube, and sphere--an approach that helps to both simplify the process and, at the same time, lessen the anxiety of a new student attempting freehand drawing. Mr. Asprodites' calm, deliberative approach will certainly be reassuring to beginners, and while students with more experience under their belt may find the presentation slow, it can also serve as a good refresher. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
