One of the better massage videos we've seen, Learn Massage at Home opens with introductory remarks from professional masseuse and instructor Kris Knight concerning needed supplies (towels, sheets, oil, etc.) and the creation of a relaxing atmosphere. Knight then proceeds to demonstrate non-sexual body massage on a number of different models, including a child and an elderly woman. In addition to the instruction in massage, Knight advises viewers on the importance of maintaining both privacy and warmth, and shows viewers draping and turning techniques to ensure same. A 20-page booklet which reiterates some of the points made in the video, and also touches on massage for pregnant women and for pets is included with the video. Video and audio qualities are very good, with excellent use of close-ups. Although the "massage video" market is fairly glutted, this one is highly recommended, either as a replacement for older tapes, or as an addition. (Available from: WellAware Media, 301 S. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
