Nationally recognized financial planner Meg Green is the host and instructor for this guide to becoming fiscally fit. During the preparations, viewers are advised to get organized and then do a financial checkup by making a net worth sheet to determine where the flab may be cut and the money put to better use. In the warm-up section, viewers are advised to write down their short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals. The "workout" itself is broken down into five major areas: investments, taxes, estate planning, insurance, and retirement planning. Green explains to viewers the various investment paths available to them (no risk, low risk, medium risk, and high risk), and places a lot of emphasis on the importance of retirement planning. A fill-in-the-blank booklet is included with the video but it's not necessary for understanding the program„ and it's not referred to on the tape. Recommended.
