Superb production values highlight this excellent pre-and post-natal workout program hosted and conducted by Elize St. Charles. Made when St. Charles was eight and a half months pregnant, the program opens with introductory remarks concerning the importance of fitness both for the mother and the baby. This is followed by four "modules": a series of pelvic floor exercises designed to help tone muscles for easier labor, a basic conditioning program which offers non-impact stretching exercises, a relaxation exercise (with better-than-average narration and nice visuals--with the ubiquitous contradiction in this type of exercise that viewers are supposed to close their eyes while watching the program), and a more advanced conditioning program which also serves as an aid in regaining one's shape following birth. Nice background music, beautiful set design, crystal clear video, and the popular subject matter make this a stand out program for public libraries. Highly recommended. Editor's Choice.
