Have you ever wondered how that white stuff you just gulped down with those cookies gets from the cow into your glass? Well, wonder no more! Moo Over for Milk traces the journey, beginning with the 23,000 pounds of food per year that a cow consumes. Viewers will see the milking process, the transportation of raw milk, and learn about what happens at the processing plant (including those big words on the carton: homogenized and pasteurized), as well as witness a demonstration of how butter is made. While the acting and effects are cheesy (no pun intended, really!), this energetic video is a great way to learn all about that famous white moustache. Recommended for those without similar fare, such as the relatively inexpensive Milk Cow, Eat Cheese (VL-7/95). Aud: K, E, P. (E. Gieschen)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
