It's hard to say what the worst aspect of this "profile" of hands-on healer Ron Lavin is: the indiscriminate mumbo-jumbo which opens up more knowledge holes than even a moderately up-to-snuff scientific Dutch boy can hope to plug given a full complement of 10 digits, or the insulting finale in which Lavin's workshops are hawked to anyone who will dial the supplied number (which isn't even toll-free). Slightly above home video production qualities are evident throughout this heavily edited (thank goodness) version of a Lavin workshop, in which he explains--in none too sensible fashion--how he channels light through the top of his head out through his hands toward the emotional blockages caused by trauma (Lavin not only feels your pain, he knows what it relates to, since he's "inherently clairvoyant"), and by removing same allows the chi to flow unimpeded once again throughout the ill person's body. I won't even get into the stuff about reincarnation or the healing of past and future lives. Not recommended. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
