Thirteen-year-old Lexi allows herself to be pressured by peers into drinking beer she doesn't want, and in this dramatization of the day after, suffers seemingly unrelated consequences, from arriving late to school to losing the soccer championship. Reflecting later on the drinking incident, Lexi reviews ways she could have stuck to her principles and refused the beer. Convincing actors, realistic settings and situations, a solid storyline, and an original soundtrack combine to make this a solid program that could inspire kids to think ahead and consider the possible results of their own actions. Highly recommended. Aud: I, J, P. (J. McDaniel)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
