To anyone who has ever tried to use a radial-arm-saw for more than lopping off the ends of 2 x 4's, the phrase "radial-arm-saw joinery" may seem like an oxymoron. Still, with a run-of-the-mill Craftsman (Sears) saw, host Curtis Erpelding achieves amazing results. This program will save woodworkers hours of frustration by mapping a clear, logical course towards mastery of the tool, while debunking its reputed limitations. There is an extensive section on how to adjust the saw, which alone is worth the price of the tape. Also, this is a textbook example of how to make an instructional videocassette. No flashy camera techniques; just good lighting, clear sound, close-ups when they're required, even pacing, and best of all, someone who knows how to teach. Having attempted radial saw joinery, this reviewer can appreciate the value of Erpelding's videocassette from a practical point-of- view, and recommends it highly.
