Rorion Gracie is the instructor (and, according to the box, "#1 self-defense expert in the world"--though who made this claim is not mentioned) in this self-defense home video course for women. Gracie teaches with one simple principle in mind, "leverage and technique can overcome size and strength." The video focuses on physical moves, balance and a few mental tips. The dilemma here, as with many self-defense videos, is the false sense of confidence, self-assurance and security viewers may get. Nothing, and I'll say it again, nothing can take the place of a face-to-face, one-on-one teaching environment for training people in how to handle life threatening situations. An optional purchase.
