Based on the Twelve Steps from Alcoholics Anonymous, this inspirational/meditation title reads the first of the Twelve Steps (which are religious in nature), adds a scriptural quote and an uplifting comment, and then presents soothing visuals of the outdoors accompanied by pleasant background music, before moving on to the next step and repeating the process. Very nicely produced, with lovely shots of waterfalls, winter scenes, butterflies, etc., Reflections: One Day At a Time has changed the one or two references to alcohol in the original to make the sayings applicable to any addictive situation. However, to us, this seems more like the kind of tape one buys for repeated personal use, as many purely inspirational titles are. Not a necessary purchase. (See JESUS: HIS LIFE & TIMES for availability.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
