Focusing on how farmers, ranchers and other rural dwellers can increase their awareness of crime and prevent it from happening, this straightforward program recommends thinking of a farm as being divided into four security zones-- central work area, central storage area, boundary region, and outlying security. Viewers are advised to put locks on gates and post "No Trespassing" signs, taught ways to avoid fuel and grain theft, and shown how to mark property with serial numbers. While much of the information contained here is self-evident (especially the recommendation to get a watchdog), this program would mostly likely be useful in collections catering to rural populations. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
