If there's one subject that needs simple instruction, it's emergency life-saving--you don't want to be confused about your breathing technique or pound on the wrong end of a windpipe. Unfortunately, EMT/Paramedic Richard Hardman presents information too quickly here, without accompanying graphics or enough variation in camera shots to hold viewer attention. Anyone learning or teaching the skills necessary to save a child's life will appreciate plainer language and a more organized script than this video offers. Not recommended. A better choice here would be Infant & Toddler Emergency First Aid, Vol. 1 (VL-7/94). Aud: P. (E. Druda)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
