Wreaths aren't just for Christmas any more. Certified floral designer Kim Unsworth demonstrates how to decorate grapevine and heart wreaths, create swags, form arrangements using dried flowers and plants, and make bows. Some of the materials are commercially prepared (like freeze-dried roses, which hold their color better than those which are air- or silica-dried) and some are from the garden. While the production values are excellent, Unsworth plunges into the first project with a minimum of preliminaries, setting to work within thirty seconds of the first title card being shown, which might satisfy the instant gratification needs for some, but others might regret the lack of explanation for some specialized materials mentioned ("sahara," "greening stick," etc.). Still, the projects are very attractive, the subject matter popular, and the price and length would make it a very welcome addition for public libraries. Strongly recommended. Aud: P. (R. Reagan)
