Selecting & Caring for Your Pet: Dachshund

Oh, good grief! I've been trying to resist the temptation to buy a dachshund for a while now, so watching this "aaawww-how-cute!" parade of doggies was (admittedly pleasant) torture. Covering dachshund history, breed characteristics and personality, grooming needs, training, nutrition, potential health problems, standards of appearance, and breeding, this production is rife with shots of too-adorable dachshunds of all three coat-types (smooth, long-haired, and--believe it or not--wire-haired) in many different colors. Though just slightly rambling in its discourse, this well-filmed video provides all the basic detail that a potential or new owner could hope for, including the personality downsides of these pets.
