Raising cane takes on a whole new meaning in this armchair fitness program presented by registered nurse Mary Ann Wilson. Emphasizing slow, gentle movements, Wilson guides seated viewers through a series of stretching and toning exercises using a walking cane, a ball, and a towel (or just the towel). Wilson concludes with a brief relaxation visualization. A good armchair fitness program aimed at senior citizens with weak or fragile joints, as well as those recovering from injury. Recommended for those without Gentle Fitness (VL-11/94) or similar fare. Three other titles in the series are also newly available: Tone and Stretch IV, Caregiver's Guide to Exercise, and The Kid's Workout. Aud: P. (R. Pitman)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
