Billie C. Lange, who serves on the Advisory Board of the Aquatic Exercise Association, is the creator of this short program which demonstrates eight different exercises that viewers can do in or out of the pool. The advantage of the pool, of course, is the natural friction of the water, against which the person doing the exercises must move. The exercises themselves, as demonstrated by Billie, appear to be fairly easy to perform, and are designed to aid in trimming inches off the waist and thighs, while adding muscle tone overall. Ms. Lange is a very enthusiastic instructor, who believes strongly in the value of her exercise program. But some of the enthusiasm is undercut by a sense of nervousness about being in front of the camera. Aquatic exercise is not exactly a burgeoning area in the home video market, and therefore this program which is a bit corny, and has a few production flaws (minor) is recommended. And, quite honestly, we found it to be, hands-down, one of the most entertaining programs we've ever seen in our many hours of special interest video reviewing. (Available from most distributors.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
