The brochure for this programs claims: "No dance or choreography, just the actual moves of the sport." True enough, and the result is one very unusual aerobics program. The sports targeted are basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, and tennis. Mr. B (Bill Elizuk) demonstrates key movements of each sport, and then a group of children copy the movements. The problem is that there is little fluidity to the isolated actions and, watching the children, many appeared to be having trouble getting into the swing of things. Elizuk has solid credentials and his approach is certainly novel. The program is well balanced in terms of exercise protocol, warm-up, stretching, cool down, and injury avoidance; however, the production values are fairly pedestrian. An optional purchase.
