"What about my leaking wiener?" Do you remember asking your Dad this question when you experienced your first nocturnal emission? (Women, of course, may skip ahead a bit here.) Me neither, but I would have bypassed my Dad anyway and gone straight to my 5th-grade best friend (the one who broadened my knowledge of sexual reproduction by informing me that babies came from "girl's butts"). And that's just what the good people at Planned Parenthood don't want: misinformation due to lack of communication between parents and children over sexual matters. Using superb reversed-out color animation, Talking About Sex presents a number of humorous and educational vignettes (and believe me, if you had to suffer through the sex ed films of the 50's-70's, this is a cut way above) concerning conception, puberty, sexual orientation, sexual abuse, contraceptive choices and STD's. Funny, honest, and direct, this will definitely help close the gap between parents and kids and would be useful in health class as well. Oh, and the informative songs are very catchy--although my wife gave me a weird look when she heard me singing "menstruating, ejaculating, acne, feelin' blue." Highly recommended. Editor's Choice.
