Teamwork: A Skill You'll Need features people working together at a construction site and a gym, talking about the various skills it takes to create a harmonious working environment. The program promotes positive attitudes in the workplace, advises on how to be a good employee and features people talking about what qualities make for a team player. As it goes on, though, it becomes increasingly hard to imagine the audience for this program. After all, people with really good job skills are out there working like hamsters and the rest of us would gladly pass over this tape for the latest episode of The Simpsons. Ostensibly, this is the kind of program teachers would show kids to inspire them, but it's mostly adults, not their peers, talking about the work environment and therefore may not be their cup of Jolt. Still, the interviewees are reasonably inspiring and managers may want to consider as a relatively inexpensive (for business videos) training film for employees. Recommended, with reservations. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
