From the time children are toddlers, they are told that anger is bad and must be managed. Anger has the capacity to permeate every aspect of our personal and professional lives, potentially leading to physical and mental illness, broken relationships, or criminal activity. Based on a three-day workshop hosted by Dr. Joann Peterson and held at the Haven Institute on Gabriola Island in British Columbia, The Anger Toolbox examines the physiological roots of anger, and includes discussions and exercises designed to improve interpersonal communication, self-awareness, and self-expression. Peterson believes that by understanding what anger is, where it comes from, and how to separate anger from violence, we can learn to channel this dangerous emotion into more healthy expressions. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
