The Financial Aid Planner is a comprehensive, straightforward guide to the myriad opportunities for prospective college students to obtain financial aid. Distinctions between grants, loans, and work study are discussed, as well as a timetable for planning for students in high school. Finding the Right College addresses the differences between colleges, the necessity of choosing on the basis of academic programs offered, the steps in getting initial information about financial aid, the resources available to help students in their search for an appropriate college, and the pitfalls students should avoid. While both programs are well done, they would both be more suitable for school programming. As it is, the subject matter is simply not esoteric enough to justify the high price for public libraries. There are several programs available which cover the same material for a lesser price. Both programs are recommended for senior high school libraries, with the above reservations. (See BABYSITTING THE RESPONSIBLE WAY for availability.)
