Right concept, wrong age group. In four different situations in this ethics video, teens have to decide whether or not they will Do the Right Thing. While raising honest children is crucial to society, the efficacy of trying to instill the virtue in the targeted 7-12th grade audience is doubtful. If teens don't already behave this way, viewing one educational video won't change them; if they do behave responsibly, they'll probably find the lessons here corny (example: Should Jerry do the school's volunteering requirement even though his boss has offered him the chance to cheat? What would YOU do?) In addition, the skits are stilted in both pacing and performance, and while the teacher's guide has some additional situations to discuss (example: Your friend wants to see your biology test before she does her make-up test. Do you show her?), even they fall in the "Like duh, what does the teacher expect me to say?" category. Regretfully not recommended. Aud: J, H. (R. Reagan)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
