Bass expert Keith Clow shows sportsman Marlin Gibbs the tips and techniques for successful bass fishing. Though the information is presented in an unstructured manner, viewers will learn about proper tackle selection, fishing in various environments, the different types of lures available, and the importance of "reading" the water (determining the ph level, etc. in order to assess where the fish are.) Beginners, completely unfamiliar with fishing, are liable to feel a little lost with the opening terminology, but Clow eventually doubles back to explain. Too, the "coupla good ol' boys" approach will appeal to some, and not to others. However, fishermen and non-fishermen alike will surely delight in the way Clow and Gibbs return their catches to the water...with a goodbye kiss. Recommended.(Available from most large distributors.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
