Former pro triathlete and YAS (Yoga for Athletes) Fitness Center founder Kimberly Fowler introduces this exercise program by explaining that her particular brand of yoga is basically a “no pretzel zone,” focusing on the benefits rather than “yoga etiquette” (even suggesting that viewers play their own favorite music in the background). The No OM Zone features 15-minute segments for upper body (including plank, upward and downward facing dog, tabletop, and camel moves), core and lower back (with locus, boat, child poses, “windshield wiper,” and a sort of “yoga bicycle”), and lower body (including chair pose, warrior and reverse warrior, half-moon, and hero). Nicely paced and ably taught by Fowler—a survivor of a brain tumor and accidents while bicycling and rock climbing who's admittedly “been to hell and back a few times”—this is recommended. Aud: P. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
