The Water Cycle & Cloud Formation, part of a 13-program series entitled Climate Regions and Weathers of the World, combines straightforward narration and gorgeous live-action nature footage to illustrate the water cycle (in which moisture evaporates, condenses, and then falls to earth again as precipitation), and cloud formation (as well as the names of different types of clouds, and the weather conditions each can signify). Although very brief at 10 minutes, this still serves as a good introduction to both topics. Other titles in the series include: Atmospheric Pressure & Solar Energy, Coastal & Mediterranean Climates, Desert & Bush Climates, Equatorial & Savannah Climates, Historical & Urban Climates, Mountain & Steppe Climates, Oceanic & Island Climates, Polar & Subpolar Climates, Temperate & Continental Climates, The Seasons & The Monsoon, Winds & Weather Forecasting, and Storms, Cyclones, & Hurricanes. Recommended. Aud: I, J, P. (E. Gieschen)
