My friend Rory was a nervous wreck when he got married: it wasn't the "I do's" that had him shaking in his shoes (that was the easy part!), but the spotlight dance, where everyone would witness his complete lack of coordination on the dance floor. One of the better productions I've seen on how to prepare for your first dance as husband and wife, The Wedding Dance is a solid soup to nuts guide to and pulling off that initial spin. Instructors Paul Overton and Sharon Ashe counsel viewers on what music goes with which dances, offering tips on song selection, before moving into a step-by-step demonstration of the standards--waltz, foxtrot and swing--adding little flourishes to begin and end your dance. Sure to be a popular addition, this is recommended. Aud: P. (J. Asala)
