Using clear and colorful animated graphics, the latest entry in "The Assistant Professor" series, introduces children to The World of Circles. Separated into three lessons, the video defines circles, demonstrates how to calculate the radius and diameter, introduces the concept of Pi and its use in determining circumference, and presents the formula for figuring the area of a circle. The program mixes straightforward instruction with practical examples to offer an excellent introduction to the subject of circles. Aimed at grades 4 and up, the video is primarily meant for the school market, but might also be useful for public libraries with larger video collections. The other two new titles in the series are: All About Angles and Fractions and All Their Parts--Part 1. Highly recommended. (Available from: Allied Video Corp., P.O.
