Fitness expert Tracey Mallett uses 3-5-pound hand weights along with either a secure chair or a barre in this addition to her “Booty Barre” workout series. Combining elements of Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, ballet, and dance, Total New Body kicks off with a warm-up and a segment on “Sculpted Arms” that includes shoulder raises, overhead reaches, and parallel rolls. The “Booty Barre Workout” itself combines balancing with arm and leg lifts, arabesque, squats, and other moves that “shake” that rear end. Also including a core section on “Abs & Flexibility” (featuring matwork, kneeling pulses and twists, push-ups, and back extensions), the program ends up with closing stretches. Well-produced and easy-to-follow (even with Mallett's thick U.K. accent), this is recommended. [Note: Tracey Mallet Presents: Pilates Super Sculpt is also newly available.] Aud: P. (J. Williams-Wood)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
