This very brief program, produced for insurance professionals and consumers, opens with a fictional couple, whose home has been burglarized, notifying the police, turning in their insurance claim (including their personal inventory list), checking for any damaged items in the house, and taking a quick look at their policy. Although no specific company is hawked, the script makes a reference to "our customers" which may be why there's so little information on this tape (possibly, the customers already have other information in print form). Offering advice on how to make a personal inventory list (a subject which is better handled in Video Home Inventory Guide, reviewed in our September 1992 issue), the only "policy" issue addressed in the tape is a quick explanation of the difference between a "replacement cost policy" and an "actual cash policy." There's just not enough information included here to warrant purchase. Not recommended. (Available from: World Insurance Network, 1050 Main St., Suite 17, East Greenwich, RI 02818; (401) 885-3311.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
