This short video covers the new sport of "volleysoccer," created by Marcus Sanford as a means of practicing soccer skills indoors, but now recognized as a viable sport in itself. It's basically soccer on a volleyball court, and Sanford briefly covers the simple rules, and then shows a quartet of players in a match. While the game certainly does look interesting, the production values on this tape are substandard, with somewhat fuzzy camera work and sound, and a rather abrupt ending. Libraries with strong sports collections may want to consider this title, but otherwise it is not a necessary purchase. (Available from: Advantage Videos, P.O. Box 48, Carlsborg, WA 98324.)

As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
