Certified wedding consultant Holly Harris offers an exhaustive guide to all aspects of getting hitched in this excellent program which also features a color-coded index guide. Each section is introduced by Harris, followed by interview footage with experts and scenes depicting the subject. Topics include: the officiant, invitations and paper trousseau, jewelry, gifts, bridal wardrobe, groom's attire, the ceremony, the rehearsal, cake, florist, photographer, videographer, music, makeup, the honeymoon, the reception, and more. While leaning toward the traditional and rather expensive, Weddings--Warm & Wonderful does cover the full range of possibilities, addressing issues that are obvious (how do you choose a good photographer?) and not so obvious (what do you do if someone in the wedding party faints?). Not as budget-minded as How to Survive Your Wedding (reviewed in out October 1992 issue) or Do Your Own Wedding (reviewed in our December 1991 issue), Weddings--Warm & Wonderful is still a fine addition to an extremely popular area. Highly recommended. (Available from: Mike Craven Productions, P.O. Box 4012, Hollywood, CA 90078; (800) 932-2432.)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
