Teaching our children about the dangers of strangers and sexual abuse is an ageless parental responsibility. And though copyrights on the three segments compiled here are 1985, 1988 and 1990, this program has stood up very well. Using puppetry, animation, and live action, young viewers are reminded to follow the basic rules (say no, get away, and tell someone you trust, etc), while also learning about "bad" secrets. The program teaches coping skills in a sensitive, straightforward manner. Recommended. Aud: E, I. (N. Plympton)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
