On a rainy English day, evangelist Ian Knox strolls through the countryside, pausing beside a pond where he has come to "think about what is important." Asking "What is a real Christian?" and "How do you become one?," Knox uses a bottle of water from the pond to illustrate Christ within us, reminding viewers what it means to hand their lives over to Christ, and asking them to join him in a prayer of dedication and repentance. Counseling viewers on where to turn next, Knox employs the analogy of a new born baby, suggesting that they cry (talk to God), feed (read the Bible and go to church) and make their messes (asking God to make them clean). Pointing out that babies let people love them, he encourages viewers to let God love them. Ending with a blessing, Knox--who is a compelling, sincere and straightforward preacher--urges people to seek support from fellow Christians and even to write to him. Sure to be a real boon to those seeking basic insights and support, this is recommended. Aud: P. (J. Reed)
