Are you afraid of the doctor? Well, you shouldn't be, especially not after watching this fun, but very informational video starring Dr. Neil Shulman, who although very silly, is a real doctor. Viewers will learn about tongue depressors, thermometers, reflex hammers, and even otoscopes (if you don't know what that is, then watch the video!) A variety of children give their opinions on doctors and shots, and even though a few adults offer some silly comments, it's always to communicate serious messages about safety and healthy choices (and it's never too early for anti-substance abuse education). At this price, any home or K-2 classroom can enjoy this tape. Recommended. Aud: K, E, P. (E. Gieschen)

Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
