In What's Your Catholic IQ?, Anthony St. Paul hosts an entertaining game show in which two teams of contestants go head to head, answering questions based on the four pillars of the Catholic catechism: “Faith,” “Sacraments,” “Prayer,” and “Morality.” Using a play-along format similar to Jeopardy and Family Feud, the program introduces questions of varying difficulty in order to illustrate definitions and attendant technicalities related to the tenets and customs of the Roman Catholic Church. While the humor is often heavy-handed, the pace is lively, and the content itself is solid, making this a potentially helpful program for those taking religious education classes based on the catechism. Recommended, overall. Aud: P. (J. Reed)
