Peggy Cappy, a yoga instructor with 20 years experience, leads a group of seniors at varying levels of physical fitness through three routines in this excellent program designed to help improve balance, energy, and coordination (with alternative poses offered for those with physical limitations and/or beginners). Yoga for the Rest of Us provides a good basic introduction to yoga, and while not the currently trendy “power yoga,” the final routine is nevertheless performed at a clip designed to elevate one's heart rate. Bonus footage features senior citizens, many of whom have studied with Cappy for over 10 years, discussing the benefits they have enjoyed from practicing yoga. Highly recommended. Aud: P. (K. Star Ratings
As of March 2022, Video Librarian has changed from a four-star rating system to a five-star one. This change allows our reviewers to have a wider range of critical viewpoints, as well as to synchronize with Google’s rating structure. This change affects all reviews from March 2022 onwards. All reviews from before this period will still retain their original rating. Future film submissions will be considered our new 1-5 star criteria.
