In this wonderful basketball coaching guide for parents, Coach Bob McDonald takes junior high school kids through some mechanical drills, including V-cuts, pivots, fakes, jumps and variations, and then offers tips and techniques on ball handling and shooting baskets. What we see is the coach explaining the drill, then the kids demonstrating the moves in a school gym setting. Everything is clearly explained, the drills build upon each other in a logical progression, the audio is clean, and the accompanying booklet repeats, clarifies, adds and illuminates the content of the video. This tape is great for the beginner and intermediate player and parent, with its emphasis on fun combined with self-discipline. Highly recommended. Editor's Choice. Aud: I, J, P. (E. Druda)
