Former National and World Aerobic Champion Michelle Dozois guides viewers through a warm-up segment before beginning the exercises (including cardio, “atomic lunges,” mat work, etc., with low impact modifications) with a group of women who are not fitness models (they provide before and after testimonials as part of the DVD extras). Dozois and company also use hand weights and a resistance band (the latter packaged with the DVD) in this realistic workout—you can actually hear the breathing here.
