Comedian Dave Chappelle follows his critically-acclaimed debut on cable's Comedy Central with an equally inspired second season, featuring a whirlwind of satirical sketches presented uncensored in this three-disc boxed set. Among the many highlights is Chappelle's impression of Samuel L. Jackson in an ad promoting a beer named for the actor. In another sketch--that now looks prescient--Chappelle (who recently disappeared during production of his third season) plays himself quitting Comedy Central, impregnating Oprah Winfrey, and making his every wish come true while spending the talk show queen's money. Best of all is a smart piece in which the Internet becomes a physical space that one can actually visit, as well as a politically shrewd bit in which President Bush turns out to be African American. DVD extras include an hour-plus of bloopers and deleted scenes, audio commentary by Chappelle and series co-creator Neal Brennan on five episodes, and featurettes. Highly recommended. Editors' Choice. (T. Keogh)
