Pop rockers Joe, Kevin, and Nick Jonas star in this Disney Channel hit show about a teenage rock band, the Lucas Brothers, who live in a converted firehouse. Instead of an entire season, this follow-up to Rockin' the House offers seven 2009 episodes, most of which revolve around Joe's relationship with schoolmate Stella (Chelsea Staub), whose job it is to ensure that the guys are always one step ahead of the latest fashions. To Joe, Stella is more than just an employee and his best friend since kindergarten; she's also the girl of his dreams. But rather than reveal his feelings and possibly jeopardize the relationship, he sings songs of heartache and unrequited love. Stella, it turns out, feels the same way, but hangs out with football player Van Dyke (Chuck Hittinger) almost as much as Joe, because he's better able to express his feelings. Other Jonas sidekicks include their father (John Ducey), Stella's Nick-obsessed pal Macy (Nicole Gale Anderson), and 8-year-old Frankie Jonas. Throughout this set, the boys combine regular high school activities, such as basketball games and school plays, with celebrity commitments, including a meeting with the Queen of England and a national television appearance. DVD extras include a “You've Just Been JoBro'd!” segment in which the boys pull a prank on tour mate Jordin Sparks. A lively show with ample ‘tweener appeal à la Hannah Montana, this is recommended.
