Romantic Inns: The West

Culled from a television series with the same name, this program takes viewers to a number of enchanting romantic locales in New Mexico, Colorado, and Washington State. I can only personally vouch for the romance and beauty of Leavenworth, WA, which is well covered here. My adorable husband and I were there last winter--at a beautiful B&B--and aside from the bossy head mistress (whom we nicknamed Frau Helga) serving up more rules and regulations than an Army sergeant, we did actually enjoy an intimate sleigh ride while drinking hot chocolate from each other's boot (ok, mugs). Though boot (or mug) prices aren't included, room prices are listed in each inn summary. A solid and enjoyable peek into kissable getaways. Recommended.
