This male-centric FX-aired sitcom revolves around the antics of five friends whose lives are dominated by fantasy football. Indie film stalwart Mark Duplass stars as Pete, a three-time winner whose obsession with capturing a fourth make-believe championship threatens his marriage, although he's too distracted to notice the danger signs. Paul Scheer, Steven Rannazzisi, and Nick Kroll costar as Pete's buddies Andre, Kevin, and Ruxin, respectively; Katie Aselton is Jenny, the wife who secretly runs her husband's team (and becomes equally obsessed, much to his chagrin); and Jonathan Lajoie is Taco, a slacker stoner who fills out the roster but shows up mainly to party. The sports angle here is no more than a set-up for a comedy about the competitive posturing of oblivious men acting like adolescent boys, but it's neither as insightful nor (despite all the sexual banter and crude guy talk) as raunchy as similar cable shows. Compiling all six episodes from the 2009 debut season, DVD and Blu-ray extras include extended versions of each episode, deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes. An optional purchase. (S.
