At the end of the third season of Syfy's lighthearted Warehouse 13, the titular location—a secret storage facility housing supernatural artifacts in South Dakota—was destroyed. But one artifact remained, and this fourth season continues the interplay of fantastic situations, colorful character chemistry, oddball history, and comic attitude as it jumps from one apocalyptic event to another. Warehouse caretaker Artie (Saul Rubinek) uses the forbidden artifact, but unleashes a terrible evil and attracts the wrath of the Vatican. Along with Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly as eccentric Warehouse agents Pete and Myka, other series regulars include Allison Scagliotti, Aaron Ashmore, Genelle Williams, and CCH Pounder, while this season's guest cast includes Brent Spiner, Anthony Head, Lindsay Wagner, Polly Walker, and Kelly Hu. Loyal Warehouse 13 fans have made this Syfy's most popular series, although it is slated to end with the fifth season. Presenting all 20 episodes aired in 2012–13, extras include episode podcasts, the animated web series “Grand Designs,” deleted and extended scenes, and a gag reel. Recommended. (S. Axmaker)
