America's largest documentary film festival DOC NYC is celebrating its 11th year, but this year is like no other. Due to COVID-19, the festival's offerings will be shown online rather than in the heart of New York City.
Although the film festival has gone virtual, it has not scaled back its roster, with over 200 feature-length and short films from all over the world (including many international, North American and U.S. premieres).
Now running until November 19, the festival also includes virtual panel discussions, appearances by noted documentary directors, workshops, and masterclasses.
Check out the DOC NYC Fest website at docnyc.net for full descriptions and information on the films and how to gain streaming access.
All films and special programs will be available online in the U.S. from November 11 beginning at noon ET through November 19 at 11:59 p.m.
Tickets are available for individual films, at $12 each, or in 5- or 10-film packs (at $45 and $80 per package). An all-access pass, good for all films, is available for $199.
