The entire schedule has been announced for the 2021 TCM Classic Film Festival. The event begins Thursday, May 6 through Sunday, March 9 and will be held a two virtual venues. Audiences will need access to the TCM network and the Classic Curated by TCM Hub on HBO Max. The event is scheduled to be virtual due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and TCM hopes to bring more audiences together by making it an immersive virtual experience. Opening night of the festival features the 60th-anniversary screening of West Side Story (1961) with stars Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, and Russ Tamblyn sharing a brand new interview that will premiere simultaneously on TCM and HBO Max. Other featured talent includes; Michael Douglas, Jacqueline Bisset, Martin Short, Debbie Allen, and more!
Movie fans will have the chance to engage with live virtual events and experiences thought-out the time of the festival. Fans can engage with live Tweets and Instagram lives with talent and host, follow along with #TCMFF. Audiences will even have the chance to join Zoom to have a more engaging conversation as part of the Club TCM. Also a fan favorite returns, on Wednesday, May 5th meet the TCM panel where network executives share insights into the network how programming is scheduled and produced, as well as preview upcoming events and series. And you can't forget about the merch! The TCM Classic Film Festival Boutique will feature limited merchandise and expect much more.
