With flying carpets, a flatulent camel, and a budding teeny-bopper romance, pre-teens are sure to get a kick out of this sequel to A Kid in King Arthur's Court. While working at a pizza joint, Calvin Fuller (Thomas Ian Nicholas) unexpectedly discovers a genie with attitude in a magic lamp. Calvin is the chosen "deliverer" who must travel back in time to save Aladdin and all of Arabia from Aladdin's evil brother, Luxor. Armed with a laptop computer, an electric toothbrush, fishing line and a Poloroid camera (all conveniently stashed in his backpack, of course), Calvin fights the bad guys and saves the day as he teams up with a curvaceous princess and Ali Baba and the Three Thieves (maybe the budget couldn't account for the other 37). Despite a predictable and hokey storyline, this is a strong optional purchase. (M. K. Lau)
