Adventures From the Bible: Creation to Moses

Young Jon has a homework assignment "for wimps": find a love story for the ages and write it up. Thinking that he'll have to research some medieval legend to supply him with fodder for chronicling the greatest love of all, Jon instead finds himself embarking on an adventure through select Bible stories, where he discovers that God's love--as manifest in stories from Genesis and beyond--is the most perfect love of all. The animation on Adventures From the Bible is adequate enough to keep young children interested for a spell, and the script keeps things moving without short-changing individual vignettes. While not really knock-your-socks-off Christian family programming, this program should still be considered a strong optional purchase suitable for general collections. Aud: P. (T. Keogh)
